Step-by-step hardboard sheet workflow
Start with the hardboard sheet SKU you actually purchase — 2440×1220 mm thin panel stock. Add every finished part as width × height × quantity. Set kerf to 2–3 mm fine blade — thinner than plywood setups so the optimizer subtracts realistic blade loss for hardboard.
Run the layout and read sheet count plus yield before buying. If yield looks low on hardboard, check grain locks, mixed thicknesses, or whether neat grid for pegboard-style layouts fits your crew better.
Export the PDF when the diagram matches shop habits. If a dimension changes, edit the row and recalculate — the hardboard nest refreshes immediately.
